Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Jens-Ove Lindsten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 2nd minute. The score was now 1-0. After 5 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. The crowd rose to their feet as Jens-Ove Lindsten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. After 12 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Köppens Kamrater players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Jens-Ove Lindsten made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Hermínio Meireles sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute of the match Köppens Kamrater got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vilgot Hagström ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vilgot Hagström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hermínio Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Köppens Kamrater's Vilgot Hagström got a free kick in the 35th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st minute, Jens-Ove Lindsten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köppens Kamrater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Noel Simão sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Simão during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Köppens Kamrater getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Noel Simão hit a great ball. Jens-Ove Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Noel Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Simão in the 58th minute of play. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Meireles in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Köppens Kamrater's Jens-Ove Lindsten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Hermínio Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Köppens Kamrater's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the game, Köppens Kamrater's Hermínio Meireles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Noel Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Meireles in the 89th minute of play. Köppens Kamrater's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
