Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 9th minute of play. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassius Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elpidio Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob May in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Timo! getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Telmo Camargo hit a great ball. If Telmo Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Elpidio Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Timo! got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Karbowski. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Benvenuto in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Timo!'s Ilie Hurmuz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Franco Benvenuto made the kick off in the second half. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Benvenuto in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Ilie Hurmuz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ilie Hurmuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 58th minute of play forced Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Bastia during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Hurmuz in the 65th minute of play. Cassius Byrne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Elpidio Amor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 67th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 69th minute of play forced Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Timo!'s Elpidio Amor got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Hurmuz in the 78th minute of the match. Elpidio Amor made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Elpidio Amor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jenson Smith's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Amor. Timo!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Monty Rogers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched USA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
