Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes in the game, Franco Benvenuto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 8th minute, Izydor Karbowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Benvenuto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. Elpidio Amor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Mcdonald's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 23rd minute of play. A hard shot 25 in the game by Franco Benvenuto from a close distance when the talented Marco Day managed to make a qualified save. USA's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Ilie Hurmuz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With his leg Marco Day managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elpidio Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 40th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Hurmuz came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Franco Benvenuto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Izydor Karbowski kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Timo! getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fabio Bastia hit a great ball. Elpidio Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. With a little luck, Timo!'s Elpidio Amor got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timo!'s Ilie Hurmuz got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Timo! made a substitution. Alexandr Lunin replaced Franco Benvenuto. After a defensive mix-up in Timo!'s zone, Jenson Smith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Amor came out of the goal and Jenson Smith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. A sloppy throw-in by Jacob May in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Timo!'s Telmo Camargo. Elpidio Amor made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
