Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zahari Kerekov, made in the 14th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toni Nenchev got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vute Baliev. DARAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Toni Nenchev tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Gonzo Ivanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Gonzo Ivanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzo Ivanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zahari Kerekov in the 35 minute of the game. DARAS's Iliya Kasabov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentín Carvallo, made in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vute Baliev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinnie Jones charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinnie Jones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vinnie Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toni Nenchev to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of DARAS's Vute Baliev. Vute Baliev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zahari Kerekov during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vute Baliev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zahari Kerekov got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zahari Kerekov kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antim Karamanski to maneuver through the defense. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Honduras played a much better game than DARAS and deserved their victory. The DARAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
