Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Cambranes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 20th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello didn't even have to move. Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Donostia. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Pello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Melquiades Ritchie. In the 43rd minute, Desfachatados F.C.'s Anacleto Honesto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anacleto Honesto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Desfachatados F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anacleto Honesto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Desfachatados F.C.'s Luis Jon was substituted for Lázaro Donostia. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Desfachatados F.C.! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Esteve Pello. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Cambranes was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 50th minute. After 53 played minutes Ecuador's Daniel Zorita stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Esteve Pello stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Desfachatados F.C. of the goal. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Esteve Pello made a huge save. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Pello having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Eduardo Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Benjamin Cambranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Benjamin Cambranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Desfachatados F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eduardo Xabel hit a great ball. Desfachatados F.C.'s Javier Piearres was substituted for Melquiades Ritchie. After 66 played minutes Desfachatados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Xabel. 67 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Esteve Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Pello was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 76th match minute, Desfachatados F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Xabel to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Esteve Pello made a huge save. Daniel Zorita kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Desfachatados F.C.'s keeper Esteve Pello was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. With a little luck, Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteve Pello. That made the score 1-3 after 83 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Esteve Pello in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Esteve Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Esteve Pello could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Esteve Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
