Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Primitivo Grau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Primitivo Grau took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 18th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 25 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Stasio Bienienda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Zhao Sen Yang sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stasio Bienienda. In the 42nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Zhao Sen Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhao Sen Yang went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. İlhami Akyazıcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. In the 71st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 75th minute of play. When Zhao Sen Yang came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhao Sen Yang couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stasio Bienienda was slow to take the kick. During this time Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olov Ahlbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Zhao Sen Yang took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
