Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ball Packert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 4th minute of the match. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Mattheo Smeulders could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 17th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Packert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stephan Vanneste who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jérémy Doku tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérémy Doku in the 28th minute of the match. Ball Packert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ball Packert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cristian Sancho in the 50thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ball Packert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jérémy Doku in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Ulan Bator Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ball Packert. Ball Packert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Ulan Bator Football Club made a substitution. Jarno Depelsmaker replaced Willy Smidts. In the 92nd play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ball Packert. 1-4. Ball Packert made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ulan Bator Football Club throughout the match.
