Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Lech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfred Kostrzewa scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maciej Bartelaks short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Patryk Snaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Snaza in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Maciej Bartelak made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 35th minute, Patryk Snaza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Sanz, passed just outside the right post. The goalkeeper, Benito Sanz, was totally fooled by The Irons Chorzów's Maciej Bartelak, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Bartelak made a kick off. After 56 minutes of play, The Irons Chorzów's Maciej Bartelak made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the game, The Irons Chorzów's Patryk Snaza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Piotr Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patryk Snaza took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 73 minutes into the game, The Irons Chorzów's Patryk Snaza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. The audience was convinced that Maciej Bartelak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The Irons Chorzów's Patryk Snaza got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Maciej Bartelak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Bartelak in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 87th minute Patryk Snaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Maciej Bartelak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 92 minutes, Patryk Snaza made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that The Irons Chorzów were the better team. The Irons Chorzów's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
