Jesús Martín was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores del Tiki Tiki's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Damian Laurentzi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Atilla Bumin Hızlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Atilla Bumin Hızlan got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sergey Nikiforenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Hızlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Atilla Bumin Hızlan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Atilla Bumin Hızlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Tiki Tiki the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 37th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Orlando Lucian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilla Bumin Hızlan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Atilla Bumin Hızlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilla Bumin Hızlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Atilla Bumin Hızlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Valentin Galo in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. 63 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Gianluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. If Atilla Bumin Hızlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defensores del Tiki Tiki made a substitution. Hampus Nordström replaced Atilla Bumin Hızlan. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Nordström in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Hampus Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Hampus Nordström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Justino Kaxen was substituted for Sergey Nikiforenko. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Hampus Nordström made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th match minute, Defensores del Tiki Tiki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Lucian to maneuver through the defense.
