ManagerZone Crew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Linkhorst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Linkhorst got free with Fernando Isusko in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Våleman's late challenge caught a Reyes F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Våleman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Adrian Våleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Alberg took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Armstrong. Patrick Armstrong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Reyes F.C.'s Aristides Dabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Armstrong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some careless play in the ManagerZone Crew defense, Aristides Dabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Armstrong. The ManagerZone Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Armstrong should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute of the match, Thorbjörn Olerius got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernando Isusko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when Reyes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Dabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ununger in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Aristides Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bonifacio Tartalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Patrick Armstrong made a huge save. When the match was over Reyes F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ManagerZone Crew throughout the match.
