After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Boycho Angelski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Anthony Lenci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boycho Angelski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 43 minutes in the game, Anthony Lenci fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Anthony Lenci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Anthony Lenci came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boycho Angelski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Boycho Angelski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute. If 苏梁泉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boycho Angelski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 苏梁泉 in the 64th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Anthony Lenci put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 苏梁泉 in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthony Lenci in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Lenci in the 80th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boycho Angelski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 刘松斐 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthony Lenci went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score.
