After having played for 11 minutes, Manel Fonelleda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK Kurevere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manel Fonelleda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes of play, JK Kurevere's Robert Müürsepp made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Beninda, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dawid Beninda in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After 43 played minutes JK Kurevere got a freekick which was hit by Manel Fonelleda. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dawid Beninda made the kick off in the second half. Dawid Beninda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. When Dawid Beninda came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the JK Kurevere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Beninda couldn't finish the play. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. JK Kurevere made a substitution. Gert Arumäe replaced Haarald Peelmann. Francisco Seco in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Mateus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Mateus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Virgilio Mateus came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Reisalu in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 79th minute.
