Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doctor Strange kicked off to start the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Fernandez having to interfere. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Doctor Strange scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. When Sport Clube Recife's Doctor Strange in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 9 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doctor Strange in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dong Yang Bang. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Doctor Strange sent off a good shot on target. The nice play by the forwards in Sport Clube Recife lead to a good chance of a goal in the 19th minute when Dong Yang Bang sent off a hard shot on goal from long distance. Jonathan Ferrant however firmly picked down the ball that almost went into the goal in the upper left corner. Percy Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. In the 34th minute, Doctor Strange ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Gualter Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doctor Strange in the 38th minute of play. Gualter Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doctor Strange, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 minutes, Pablo Lampard made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Dong Yang Bang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doctor Strange in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Doctor Strange came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Sport Clube Recife's Doctor Strange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 63 minutes of play, Sport Clube Recife's Doctor Strange made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Yang Bang in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes in the game, Patricio Costa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Percy Fernandez having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Yang Bang in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sport Clube Recife's Marco Tardelli got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 85 played minutes Sport Clube Recife got a freekick which was hit by Rain Bow. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 86th minute of play forced Sport Clube Recife's goalkeeper Percy Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes Sport Clube Recife's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Percy Fernandez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doctor Strange in the 88th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor Strange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. If Doctor Strange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pablo Lampard came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sport Clube Recife fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Lampard couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute Pablo Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Sport Clube Recife were the better team. Sport Clube Recife's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
