The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Văcărescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Boșneag in the 56th minute of play. After 60 minutes AC MiLaN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. The audience was convinced that Emil Văcărescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
