In the 8th minute of the match, Adam Proca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbigniew Laba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilfredo León kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Zbigniew Laba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Laba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Proca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Proca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Labus in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Adam Proca notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Zbigniew Laba. White Star Troopers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. White Star Troopers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that White Star Troopers's Zbigniew Laba managed to reach the ball for a save. Zbigniew Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after White Star Troopers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Gustaw Cisek kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. White Star Troopers's Jerzy Jastrowicz was substituted for Adam Proca. The supporters of Ecuador booed when White Star Troopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaw Cisek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zbigniew Laba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Zbigniew Laba in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo León's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Zbigniew Laba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 93rd minute, Bartosz Bentkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in White Star Troopers's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Laba came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, White Star Troopers could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
