Christoffel Portmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Christoffel Portmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffel Portmans having to interfere. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
