The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoro Soto got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute Şenel Rafet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Sven Vollander took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ricardo Zorita to make any attempt to save it. After 18 minutes, Jesus Carvallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Carno FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

El Salvador's attentive Mateo Leguizamo managed to snatch the ball when Nurettin Tun made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Vollander in the 61st minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Carno FK were the better team. Carno FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
