A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Luis Andino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 9th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mai Namer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mai Namer was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Erik Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Buonanno struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Football Club Kekke. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mai Namer. Mai Namer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Football Club Kekke's Mai Namer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Daniel Zorita sped through Football Club Kekke's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mai Namer. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Buonanno came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Robin Martinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Football Club Kekke's Florens á Neystabø was substituted for Diego Buonanno. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florens á Neystabø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Florens á Neystabø came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Football Club Kekke made a substitution. Isak Gustavsson replaced Robin Martinsson. In the 61st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Football Club Kekke's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Mai Namer however easily saved by the left post. After 69 minutes Football Club Kekke's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After 69 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. A collision led to Football Club Kekke getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Konstantinos Skaboulis hit a great ball. Football Club Kekke made a substitution. Sebastian Zachariassen replaced Hugo Winström. After a rather tough play, Football Club Kekke's Konstantinos Skaboulis got a free kick in the 80th minute. Mai Namer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mai Namer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florens á Neystabø in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Football Club Kekke's goalkeeper Mai Namer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 93 minutes into the game, Florens á Neystabø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
