The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustave Héron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldo Renteria in the 4th minute of the match. Gustave Héron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amir Lee went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Lee came free, but Gustave Héron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barlas Aydın to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Waldo Renteria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustave Héron was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gustave Héron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Lee in the 25th minute of the match. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batiste Botella, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gustave Héron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Lee in the 29th minute of play. If Ludwig Högman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batiste Botella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dario Wilhelm made a huge save. Gustave Héron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Lee in the 35th minute of the match. Gustave Héron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldo Renteria in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Batiste Botella tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Allen Dalton. Amir Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Héron having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amir Lee to make the kick off. Herblay's Jean-Michel Portier got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Waldo Renteria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christophe Beaulieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herblay's Gustave Héron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allen Dalton in the 59th minute of play. Amir Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Héron having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldo Renteria in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustave Héron saved Herblay from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Guillaume Soudan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batiste Botella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes Herblay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zoilo Doblas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Zoilo Doblas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustave Héron quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Amir Lee took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gustave Héron to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amir Lee got free with Gustave Héron in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allen Dalton took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustave Héron. Gustave Héron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Cascade Park West made a substitution. Chad Busby replaced Rashad Richardson. Gustave Héron made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Amir Lee sent off a good shot on target. Gustave Héron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wang Sha Qian in the 87th minute. Amir Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christophe Beaulieu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Sha Qian in the 96th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Gustave Héron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Herblay fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cascade Park West were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
