The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes FC Brzesko City got a freekick which was hit by Roch Noworolnik. Inmortales FC's Toby Herget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Kajder in the 11th minute of play. If Kuzey Kırgız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Brzesko City booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Zbyszko Kajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toby Herget saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toby Herget guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Kuzey Kırgız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Alkinoos Pournaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Brzesko City booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Barr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cezary Pilarski might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toby Herget. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cezary Pilarski ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when FC Brzesko City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonso Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inmortales FC's Toby Herget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuzey Kırgız in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alphonso Davies came free, but Toby Herget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Garcia made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Zbyszko Kajder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toby Herget was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 57th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özkan Özkoc to maneuver through the defense. Cezary Pilarski struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Toby Herget didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Brzesko City. Toby Herget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Kajder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Inmortales FC got a freekick which was hit by Jasper Agoos. In the 67th minute of the match Cezary Pilarski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toby Herget showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tanek Wojtyna was a little too slow when Mitch Rushing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Toby Herget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuzey Kırgız, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuzey Kırgız in the 76th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Toby Herget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sandy Barnhart hit a great ball. Toby Herget stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuzey Kırgız's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inmortales FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
