In the 44th minute, Durvalino Quintal made a precise shot to the right of Güntekin Adılhan. ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Borussia Dortmund MZB were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Fernandez took the corner. The corner led Borussia Dortmund MZB's Sune Bergdal to fire away a dangerous shot which Güntekin Adılhan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
