Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Roger Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Paulo José Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo José Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo José Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Queluzito booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes Queluzito got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Fonseca. In the 20th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo José Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo José Rodrigues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 28th minute of play forced Queluzito's goalkeeper Paulo José Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. In the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Lima in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 46th minute of play forced Queluzito's goalkeeper Paulo José Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nando Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulo José Rodrigues, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Cristian Sancho rounded Queluzito's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Paulo José Rodrigues in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felippe Fonseca hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Rodrigues having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Queluzito's goalkeeper Paulo José Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton de Amaral came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo José Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Paulo José Rodrigues in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo José Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of the match. When Ian Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Queluzito's protests and gave Ian Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Queluzito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo José Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Paulo José Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Paulo José Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 89th minute of play. Nando Lima took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Queluzito throughout the match.
