Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Doty, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Mats Nyström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but David Abad firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad got control of the ball when Mats Nyström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Long Xiang Yuan came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Loco Durazno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Abad. The goal made the score 1-1. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyfettin Onursoy in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyfettin Onursoy in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes Golden Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Günther Doty who took care of the corner kick. Günther Doty made a great header on Chinese CJ Youth Academy's corner, it was just that Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Günther Doty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Lundqvist. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Doty, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Nyström got free with David Abad in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th play minute Mats Nyström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Abad. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Günther Doty was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyfettin Onursoy in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Lundqvist saved Golden Lions FC from getting behind. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebben Johansson in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 61st minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper David Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anders Lundqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 69th minute of play. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyfettin Onursoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. David Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe was substituted for Mats Nyström. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Larpe in the 87th minute of play. If Günther Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Günther Doty got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Seyfettin Onursoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burç Tokhan in the 94th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Burç Tokhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. David Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Luan Pombo was substituted for Seyfettin Onursoy. Golden Lions FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chinese CJ Youth Academy for a fine match.
