In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Fågelmara IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Agustín Saelices to score against Tom Colling in Fågelmara IK's goal. 0-2 after 26 minutes. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Colling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 35 minutes Fågelmara IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 45 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Tom Colling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Witold Lepucki to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Sjö in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Kaspar Veetõusme made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aleksander Sjö's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleksander Sjö helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Aleksander Sjö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tom Colling was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Siggesson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fågelmara IK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alvin Alström hit a great ball. After 85 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Colling was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 91 minutes Fågelmara IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
