A very good chance for a goal. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 郭峰延 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 马渊宁 in the 40th minute of the match. 马渊宁 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With his leg 郭峰延 managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
