Troy Kennedy scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ziya Ergenç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harvey Doyle hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsmail Hakkı Vala in the 25th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, İsmail Hakkı Vala took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. 31 minutes into the game, Mehmet Bilge Sonat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⓜⓤⓢⓗⓛⓔⓔ ⓢⓚ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Curacao's Harvey Doyle got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aybar Yalman in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Kürşat Camcı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, İsmail Hakkı Vala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İsmail Hakkı Vala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Aybar Yalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsmail Hakkı Vala in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, ⓜⓤⓢⓗⓛⓔⓔ ⓢⓚ's Aybar Yalman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Rocco Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsmail Hakkı Vala in the 77th minute of play. Kürşat Camcı took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybar Yalman in the 82nd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Hakkı Vala, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Kürşat Camcı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Kürşat Camcı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dilmen Şahinhan in the 89th minute of play. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aybar Yalman in the 91st minute of play. Stanley Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ziya Ergenç made a huge save. Rocco Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
