In the 6th minute Mihăiţă Voina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Iordache Minea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Marian Drogoreanu made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 20th minute, Kordal Duff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Drogoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Mihăiţă Voina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Emil Dobrinescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YR☆ Rossoneri™ and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes YR☆ Rossoneri™ got a freekick which was hit by Emil Dobrinescu. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Minea having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, YR☆ Rossoneri™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorel Ivan to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Geroy Ascue kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Teodor Radovan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in YR☆ Rossoneri™ reached it. 57 minutes into the game, Jamaica's Jarell Hill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iordache Minea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Wayan Freeman hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Marian Drogoreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Marian Drogoreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wayan Freeman kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jamaica's Kordal Duff got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Kordal Duff off the ground. The supporters of YR☆ Rossoneri™ booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kordal Duff didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Marian Drogoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Drogoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jarell Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Eric Marica put in a rough tackle. In the 93rd minute, Finlay Stair ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iordache Minea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Chants of Jamaica echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as YR☆ Rossoneri™ had held the ball for most of the match.
