Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Urtats having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Areco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Gines to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Panama booed when Areco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Pirro in the 19th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Alex Cambeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Areco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Urtats having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 28th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Urtats. Areco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Urtats was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gabriel Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Urtats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Alguacil's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The Areco FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-1.

Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 61st minute Aquiles Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 63rd minute of the match. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 70th minute. Nói Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Pirro in the 81st minute of play. Gabriel Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Sol struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Areco FC. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Panama players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
