But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Barry Houghton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Dragonf⮊rcE's Daniel Antunes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 34 minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Abraham Alguacil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zacarias Sesimbra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Dragonf⮊rcE getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sten Sten hit a great ball. Dragonf⮊rcE's Ludo Tobbackers was substituted for Herman Dresselbjerg. The supporters of Panama booed when Dragonf⮊rcE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Sten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Houghton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
