Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Müfit Tolgahan. Samsunspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Müfit Tolgahan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Müfit Tolgahan came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 33rd minute of the game Seyrani İklim made a throw-in which Kandemir Uluhan played forward. When Kandemir Uluhan fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samsunspor's protests and gave Kandemir Uluhan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kandemir Uluhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yağızhan Acıbadem's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Samsunspor's Recep Tayyip Değirmencioğlu made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Mecnun Başer made the kick off in the second half. Christian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Müfit Tolgahan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Recep Tayyip Değirmencioğlu in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yağızhan Acıbadem. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızhan Acıbadem in the 59th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Müfit Tolgahan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Seyrani İklim hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Müfit Tolgahan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mecnun Başer in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. After 75th play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Müfit Tolgahan and just under the crossbar into goal. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu with Yağızhan Acıbadem as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kandemir Uluhan. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Müfit Tolgahan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müfit Tolgahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu in the 91 minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Seyrani İklim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Müfit Tolgahan made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Mecnun Başer came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras played a much better game than Samsunspor and deserved their victory. The Samsunspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
