Alex Chicote made in the 47th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Patricio Costa.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 81st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Robert Antoniu scored 8-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
