In the 78thth minute of the game Emil Majtyka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albins Kamrater were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Krister Rudkvist took the corner. When Arman Wallin fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albins Kamrater's protests and gave Arman Wallin a yellow card for diving instead. Arman Wallin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Thomas Lundberg tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jan-Åke Jönsson.
