Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Caio Mendes hit a great ball. Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Sequeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Tasso FC's players had a chance to rest. 12 minutes into the game, Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Silverio Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldir Urbano. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waldir Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldir Urbano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Waldir Urbano struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Waldir Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Waldir Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Waldir Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Waldir Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Berkin Dilsafa hit a great ball. Silverio Corderun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldir Urbano to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Silverio Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Sebastián Coates was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tasso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Urbano in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Silverio Corderun in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silverio Corderun made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Miguel Sequeira hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Corderun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tasso FC made a substitution. Pinto Valer replaced Caio Mendes. 88 minutes into the game, Severi Nybacka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Normando Fiúza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tasso FC had played much better football throughout.
