A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Chicken Tikka Mo Salah's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Sanz in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chicken Tikka Mo Salah's Oscar Darnbrooke. Tommy Hurst's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Hurst helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chicken Tikka Mo Salah getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tommy Hurst hit a great ball. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Édouard Mendy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olimpiu Hurmuzache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Hurmuzache in the 30th minute of play. Marcin Jandryca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Raul Venegas. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Olimpiu Hurmuzache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Darnbrooke hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Olimpiu Hurmuzache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Hurmuzache notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Olimpiu Hurmuzache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Olimpiu Hurmuzache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Olimpiu Hurmuzache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chicken Tikka Mo Salah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Oscar Darnbrooke kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Many of Paraguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paraguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Chicken Tikka Mo Salah were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
