Girondins4Ever's Zygmunt Bochinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. If Nichifor Nimass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Girondins4Ever's Nichifor Nimass dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Nichifor Nimass could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Nichifor Nimass sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute Girondins4Ever were awarded a corner. Gaétan Rémetter went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Christian Alves managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicky Larson in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Larson was the one to do the kick off. Zygmunt Bochinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 53rd minute. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Paul Marquant, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Chile defense, John-Paul Marquant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Garrido in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Girondins4Ever's Jordan Moalic. The Girondins4Ever support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
