Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Armando Lamb ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Diego Armando Lamb put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Diego Armando Lamb scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Armando Lamb scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pedro Tomás Talamilla in the 21 minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Lamb came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Nadal struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algarrobo. 28 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Lamb came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Diego Armando Lamb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 4-0. Diego Armando Lamb had several of the Paraguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Jacobo Nores as he didn't even see the shot coming. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Edmundo Cañas scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 6-0. The supporters of Algarrobo booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Diego Armando Lamb sent off a good shot on target. In the 40thth minute of the game Rafael Nadal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Lamb in the 45th minute of the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute Rafael Nadal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Algarrobo's Wilfredo Marchetti was substituted for Rafael Nadal. Paraguay's Ivan Prats managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilfredo Marchetti in the 60 minute of the game. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Lamb in the 62nd minute of the match. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Diego Armando Lamb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb. But to his dismay, Diego Armando Lamb quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Alan Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Dani Alves shot a long shot in the 74th minute and a light blocked Jacobo Nores hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 9-0. Wilfredo Marchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Paraguay's attentive Xavier Zoido managed to snatch the ball when Wilfredo Marchetti made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Lamb came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Algarrobo's Jimeno Carrera. But to his dismay, Jimeno Carrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Diego Armando Lamb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Juan Ignacio Vera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Algarrobo had won after a very even match.
