Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralph Roeles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a good free kick, Jan de Vlieger got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ralph Roeles. Ralph Roeles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Jan de Vlieger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Tarvi Koop hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Ralph Roeles. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt van der Laan in the 81st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ralph Roeles. That made the score 1-5 in the 82 minute of play. Ralph Roeles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 86th minute. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Ecuador played a much better game than Julias Rascals Apeldoorn and deserved their victory. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
