Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Kazimierz Birkenhagen sent off a good shot on target. Du made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in NDVX's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Du came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heriberto Cambronero kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Bento charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Bento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 27 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, NDVX's Kazimierz Jastrowicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Kazimierz Birkenhagen struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NDVX. Kazimierz Birkenhagen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Du in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Bento in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Du in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Agustín Saelices slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Du. That made the score 1-1 after 60 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Bento in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Birkenhagen in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, NDVX's Du got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Du made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Du quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 78 minutes, Arkadiusz Wogensen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NDVX and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Du tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Carlos Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
