Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Zdeb having to interfere. Mariusz Zdeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Timmy Friberger notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariusz Zdeb came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Björkö BK defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariusz Zdeb. The Björkö BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariusz Zdeb should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Lundin in the 30th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariusz Zdeb. Mariusz Zdeb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariusz Zdeb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Elias Strömqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Mariusz Zdeb when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mariusz Zdeb was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Luis Andino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Andino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Mariusz Zdeb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 63 minutes, Jeferson Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Björkö BK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Björkö BK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jeferson Melo hit a great ball. Mariusz Zdeb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy Friberger in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariusz Zdeb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeferson Melo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Mariusz Zdeb was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Björkö BK.
