The Grimório fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Niedziela should have stopped the shot. Wawrzyniec Niedziela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tõnis Kaldvee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grimório's supporters rose to their feet, but Tõnis Kaldvee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Grimório getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Renaud Van de Put hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
