In the 8th minute, Agustín Saelices left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Duda Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Viana having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Duda Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rahim Sidam in the 22nd minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by HORIZZONT's Rahim Sidam. But to his dismay, Rahim Sidam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 34 minutes into the game, HORIZZONT's Rahim Sidam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Rahim Sidam sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alpertunga Visali who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Rahim Sidam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rahim Sidam to make the kick off. If Arif Babürşah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, HORIZZONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Gökalp Cengel to maneuver through the defense. Duda Viana made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when HORIZZONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlbey Çetinel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of HORIZZONT's Duda Viana. Duda Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rahim Sidam took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. HORIZZONT made a substitution. Yaşar Akbuğ replaced Rahim Sidam. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaşar Akbuğ in the 88th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naim Gencal in the 89th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 4-4 without a chance for Duda Viana to make any attempt to save it.
