Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Edwin Helwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Serge Schophuis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Serge Schophuis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Edwin Helwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Felix Montenegro made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 15 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Barry Zandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edwin Helwig came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Jan Schenning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Edwin Helwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edwin Helwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to Beetje Moe Re-United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alex Overmars hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Helwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Serge Schophuis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beetje Moe Re-United's supporters rose to their feet, but Serge Schophuis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Jan Schenning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After 38 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edwin Helwig was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd match minute, Beetje Moe Re-United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Zandberg to maneuver through the defense. Edwin Helwig came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serge Schophuis to strike the kick off in the second half. Beetje Moe Re-United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Edwin Helwig, making the score, 2-4. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes Beetje Moe Re-United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Edwin Helwig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 72 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Edwin Helwig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Edwin Helwig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Edwin Helwig. Beetje Moe Re-United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Edwin Helwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador played a much better game than Beetje Moe Re-United and deserved their victory. The Beetje Moe Re-United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
