Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Juan Carlos Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Los Podridos ll's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Omar Falleto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Costa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulises Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Liher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tortrakula Pe hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Costa in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ulises Costa sent off a good shot on target. Omar Falleto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Falleto having to interfere. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ulises Costa made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute of the match Los Podridos ll got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filiberto Erramu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Los Podridos ll's Fulgencio Bilintx was substituted for Juan Carlos Messi. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Los Podridos ll's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Los Podridos ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Omar Falleto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Los Podridos ll's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 83rd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Omar Falleto in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Los Podridos ll's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Leandro Dunixi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Fulgencio Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Fulgencio Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Los Podridos ll booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Podridos ll.
