Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Belotti in the 4th minute of play. FC Acqua Palomba's Amanda van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amanda van der Sar having to make a save. Antonio Arias's late challenge caught a FC Acqua Palomba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Arias helped the player get up and apologised. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Immobile in the 13th minute. FC Acqua Palomba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Albar in the 19th minute. The corner led to FC Acqua Palomba's Celestino Donzel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 21 minutes into the match, FC Acqua Palomba's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Amanda van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amanda van der Sar came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ciro Immobile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Amanda van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Jeremy Goddard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Acqua Palomba and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Jeremy Goddard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amanda van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. Amanda van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amanda van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Amanda van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Ciro Immobile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Acqua Palomba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Immobile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amanda van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Andrea Belotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, FC Acqua Palomba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邱博飞 to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play forced FC Acqua Palomba's goalkeeper Amanda van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Amanda van der Sar in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amanda van der Sar. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. 62 minutes into the match, FC Acqua Palomba's goalkeeper Amanda van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 66 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amanda van der Sar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Amanda van der Sar made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Mario Albar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amanda van der Sar. That made the score 0-5 after 76 minutes of play. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amanda van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Andrea Belotti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Andrea Belotti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Andrea Belotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Mario Albar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Mario Albar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Amanda van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador played a much better game than FC Acqua Palomba and deserved their victory. The FC Acqua Palomba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
