Dawid Dropinski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tomasz Jarosiewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Jacinto in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Salvador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dawid Dropinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Ekipa Damcia's players had a chance to rest.
