Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ceferino Odol started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Odol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 13th minute of play. Zbyszko Leper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Camilo Gisbert made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. Ceferino Odol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Odol in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Zbyszko Leper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's Ceferino Odol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ceferino Odol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced BYDGOSTIA's goalkeeper Zbyszko Leper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Leper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Odol in the 56th minute of play. Ceferino Odol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Kazimierz Trojanowski replaced Patryk Zgonina. After 70 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Kowalski. 74 minutes into the match, Ceferino Odol notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Lindström in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 88th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. BYDGOSTIA were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
