Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eneid Ilo made the kick off which started today's match. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eneid Ilo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eneid Ilo in the 7th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mali i Thatë FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vlash Xhaferri took the corner. The corner ended in Vlash Xhaferri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Eneid Ilo came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. In the 14th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Eneid Ilo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Eneid Ilo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 25 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mali i Thatë FC the free kick. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vlash Xhaferri who took care of the corner kick. Sefedin Gjyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Mali i Thatë FC's Luftim Hamdiu. But to his dismay, Luftim Hamdiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 40th minute, Osman Imeraj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nard Kasmi having to interfere. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lirim Osja showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 45 minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Nard Kasmi in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Mali i Thatë FC's Lirim Osja in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Mali i Thatë FC made a substitution. Mikel Meta replaced Elion Fazliu. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Luftim Hamdiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alexander Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alexander Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eneid Ilo in the 71st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Mali i Thatë FC got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vlash Xhaferri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nard Kasmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute of the match Abel Carballo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nard Kasmi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meleq Tare in the 84th minute of the match. When Eneid Ilo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Mali i Thatë FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eneid Ilo couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erando Gacaferi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nard Kasmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mali i Thatë FC's Eneid Ilo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mali i Thatë FC's Luftim Hamdiu in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Mali i Thatë FC were the better team. Mali i Thatë FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
