Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Mattin Solbeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Rodolfo Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tacheros OFF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Tacheros OFF's Christian Najarro got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tacheros OFF's Rodolfo Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Christian Najarro scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Rodolfo Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Najarro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rodolfo Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mattin Solbeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Tacheros OFF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodolfo Anaya quite easily take care of the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Anaya. Rodolfo Anaya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 45th match minute, Tacheros OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Tunander to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Rodolfo Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Najarro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Anaya made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Najarro in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tacheros OFF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Tacheros OFF's Rodolfo Anaya managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Anaya saved Tacheros OFF from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolfo Anaya, 1-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Rodolfo Anaya made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodolfo Anaya despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Anaya having to interfere. Rodolfo Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tacheros OFF's Jan-Ove Tunander got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
