Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tor Wassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Nuka Crazies got a freekick which was hit by Marko Löv. Tor Wassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of the match. Otto Åkerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A collision led to Nuka Crazies getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jens-Åke Samuelsson hit a great ball. Joshua Secada charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Secada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nuka Crazies booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Gaos got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Illescas. In the 29th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tor Wassenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nuka Crazies's Bengt Busk. Salvador Gisbert got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Guillermo Mariano. Venezuela's attentive Guillermo Mariano managed to snatch the ball when Björn Lindsten made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuka Crazies's Bengt Busk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 55th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nuka Crazies's Jens-Åke Samuelsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tor Wassenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tor Wassenius. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 84 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor Wassenius. Nuka Crazies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Guillermo Mariano made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jose Correa however managed to control. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor Wassenius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Venezuela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
