Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Benedicto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 31st minute of play. Filomeno Benedicto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Filomeno Benedicto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sheldon Cooper to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of play forced SISTRELLS's goalkeeper Filomeno Benedicto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filomeno Benedicto came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 83rd minute. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Mateo Primeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anacleto Perpiñán made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aya Contreras immediately put the ball in play. Taavi Nikopensius took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6.
